To travel from Bali to Nusa Penida, most people use the port of Sanur. If your accommodation is located in Kuta, this is the fastest way to get to Nusa Penida.
Nusa Penida is a small island next to Bali which has some incredible nature.

The sea is crystal clear and you can take some super fancy pictures for your instagram account.

We booked our trip directly from privatebalitransport.com, a small but finer tour guide named Bim. We paid about 500000 Rupiah which covers everything from hotel pickup to speed boat and a car with a driver. Check the description below to book with our guide Bim.

The speedboat ride was quite comfortable. You sit in rows of upholstered seats and can have your luggage carried to the top deck. On the sides, small sliding windows open, which provide fresh air while driving.

Bim, our guide, showed us first the broken beach. I was so impressed.

Broken Beach is a scenic coastal formation on the southwestern edge of Nusa Penida island. The spot is marked by a hilly arch-like rock formation, which is the distinguishable landmark of the area.

Afterwards we drove on the non existing streets to Angel beach. Look at this...

The naturally formed rock lagoon offers a scenic seascape. You can descend into its crystal-clear rock pools for a swim or a soak, but only during low tide.

The third stop was “Cristal bay”.

At Crystal Bay you will see schools of anthias and batfish which comes around periodically. A bat cave is located nearby.
