Hotel review: Motel One Wiener-Staatsoper.

This time we decided to go to Vienna to visit the city and its sights.

We had booked a superior room at the Motel One Wien-Staatsoper, because we liked the stay in Frankfurt at the Motel One Römer so much a few month ago.

The hotel is about 20 minutes drive from the airport, and only a few hundred meters from the Vienna State Opera away.

At the reception, we were friendly welcomed, but we had to wait an hour until our room was ready.  During that time we had lunch in the restaurant "cafe museum"next to the hotel. A restaurant that I can recommend, good viennese cuisine and desserts.

Our room, a superior room, was on the 1st floor.  The room was very spacious; only the bathroom was small as usual but very stylish and clean.  The towels were changed every day, and the bed was very comfortable.  On one side of the bed was a charging station for the phone, so you need only your cable to charge your phone or tablet. Wi-Fi was available for free in the hotel.  The only thing what I missed was a safe in the room!

In the basement, there is a cool bar, and a breakfast room, all very stylishly furnished.  The bar is also used to have breakfast.  Although the hotel was crowded full, we still found a free table to have breakfast.

The breakfast offer was very plentiful, and of good quality, everything was fresh. The service staff was helpful and friendly.

For sightseeing, the hotel is well placed, most points of interest are easy to reach by foot.

I wish you a pleasant stay in Vienna when you visit it once.
